This is the PCBoard 15.23 FREE Upgrade Patch! This archive
contains patch files for PCBOARD.EXE PCBOARDM.EXE and 
PCBOARD2.EXE 25 NODE BBS Software.

         HOW TO UPGRADE YOUR 15.22 EXECUTIBLES
--------------------------------------------------------

In order to use these patch files you need your original
PCBoard Version 15.22 executibles.  

Step 1.
 Create a NEW PATCH directory on your system and place
 ALL the contents of this archive in the new directory.
	Example C:\PATCH

Step 2.
 Copy your PCBOARD*.EXE files into a TEMPORARY 
 location. NOTE: This can not be the same location as
 your patch files!
	Example C:\PATCH\TEMP

Step 3.
 Run PATCH.EXE to update your files.
 Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP PCBOARD.RTP
 Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP PCBOARDM.RTP
 Example: PATCH C:\PATCH\TEMP PCBOARD2.RTP

Step 4.
 Backup your 15.22 PCBOARD Executibles! Copy the new
 15.23 executibles into your PCBoard directory.
 Note: Your current 15.22 PCBOARD executibles may have
 a READ-ONLY attribute.   You will need to turn this
 OFF to copy the new files over.
        Example: ATTRIB -R *.EXE (to turn off)
                 ATTRIB +R *.EXE (to turn ON)

Step 5.
 You're DONE! Congratulations you are now upgraded to 
 PCBoard Version 15.23!

If you have any difficulty upgrading your 15.22 PCBoard
to the newer 15.23 software.  You may request the new
executibles directly from the staff on Salt Air.
Simply send them a message stating clearly your problem,
and they will attach the new files to an email message
to you.
