Sie haben die M”glichkeit, den Installationspfad fr die
Freecom-Treiber und Programme zu „ndern.

Bei Auswahl von <Ja> wird der Standardpfad 'C:\FC'
verwendet.

Bei Auswahl von <Nein> fragt das System Sie nach einem
anderen Laufwerk und Verzeichnis. Bitte geben Sie nur
unter DOS gltige Zeichen fr die Vergabe von Datei-
und Verzeichnisnamen an. z.B. 'D:\CD\FC' o.„.

Die Installation kann nicht auf dem Quell-Laufwerk
erfolgen: z.B. von Laufwerk A: auf Laufwerk A:, oder
von C: auf C:

Sie haben nun die M”glichkeit, die Ger„tetreiber
automatisch in den Start-Dateien Ihres Systems
eintragen zu lassen.

Mit der Auswahl <Žnderungen anzeigen> k”nnen Sie sich
die Eintr„ge vorher ansehen.

Danach besteht die M”glichkeit, die Žnderungen vom
System automatisch durchfhren zu lassen <Ja> oder sie
bei <Nein> nachtr„glich in den Startdateien einzufgen.
Die Žnderungen finden Sie dann in der Datei CHANGES.FC
in dem Installationsverzeichnis.

Die notwendigen Erg„nzungen in den Start-Dateien
k”nnen mit einem beliebigen Editor erzeugt werden.

The most important keys for handling the install program
are:

Please note the explanations at the bottom line of the 
screen. The functions of the keys at a given point
of the installation are explained here.

The Freecom install program might automatically copy 
its device driver files in a directory of your choosing.

By choosing the option <yes> the path C:\FC will be 
used.

If you choose <no> the progamm will ask you for another
destination drive and directory. You can specify any 
path that DOS allows you to. A possible entry would be:
C:\CDROM\FREECOM

The installation cannot be performed on the source
drive: i.e. you cannot install the software from drive
a: to drive a: or from c: to c:.

CHANGING THE CONFIGURATION
----------------------------
The install program enables you to have your pcs
configuration files config.sys and autoexec.bat 
changed automatically.

The option <show file modifications> allows you to 
check the modifications before they are being performed.

You can have have the configuration files changed if
you choose the option <yes>. If you decide to choose <no>
you will have to change your configuration files manually.
The necessary changes are in this case listed in the file
CAHNGES.FC.

We recommend that you have the changes performed 
automatically.

Het installatieprogramma zal de freecom besturingssoftware
naar een door u gekozen directory kopi‰ren.

Bij de keuze <Ja> word het standaard directory C:\FC
genomen.

Bei de keuze <Nee> vraagt het installatieprogramma naar
een ander loopwerk en directory. Hier kunt u alle onder 
DOS toegestane mogelijkheden aangeven. 
Dit kan bijvoorbeeld D:\CDROM\FREECOM zijn o.i.d.

De installatie kan niet op het "bron"-loopwerk worden
uitgevoerd. Dat wil zeggen dat het niet mogelijk is van 
loopwerk a: naar a: of van c: naar c: te installeren.

SYSTEEMCONFIGURATIE VERANDEREN
------------------------------
Zodra de bestanden op uw vaste schijf zijn gekopieerd,
vraagt het programma of het de noodzakelijke 
veranderingen in de configuratiebestanden config.sys en 
autoexec.bat moet uitvoeren. Met de optie <veranderingen
in de configuratie tonen> kunt u deze veranderingen 
van te voren bekijken.

U heeft nu de mogelijkheid, deze veranderingen 
automatisch door het installatieprogramme uit te laten
voeren als u <ja> aangeeft. Indien u <nee> uitkiest moet
u later zelf de configuratiebestanden van uw pc veranderen
De noodzakalijke veranderingen zijn in dit geval in het 
bestand CHANGES.FC beschreven.

Eventueel zijn op de diskette nog enige "last-minute"
aanwijzingen in het bestand README.TXT aangegeven.
