Prior to use the unit, be sure to read this information with the User's guide. +--------------------+ | About Installation | +--------------------+ (1) This installar (INSTALL.EXE) changes CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT as follows and registrates a device driver (IMES_CD.SYS). (CONFIG.SYS) DEVICE = C:_IMES_CD.SYS /D:IMESCD01 (AUTOEXEC.BAT) C:_MSCDEX.EXE /D:IMESCD01 Note: The device name /D:IMESCD01 in CONFIG.SYS and AUTOESEC.BAT must be same. (2) Install to PC-DOS and Windows 3.1 1.Activate PC-DOS 2.Insert the Option Diskette in the package into a drive A. 3.Key in A:INSTALL and execute. 4.Follow the instructions on the screen. (3) Install to Windows 95 As in Windows 95 a deveice driver is installed as a base function, this installer may not be installed specifically. But with the device driver in Windows 95 does not support CD-I, CD-G and DMA data transfer. The device driver supllied with ICD1200/AT support CD-I, CD-G and DMA. How to install to Windows 95 ---------------------------- 1.Actuate PC in DOS mode of Windows 95. -Click START -Click EXIT FROM Windows -Click RETURN TO MS-DOS MODE 2.Insert the Option Diskette in the package into a drive A. 3.Key in A:INSTALL and execute. 4.Follow the instructions on the screen. 5.Reset PC (key in ctrl+alt+delete at same time) 6.On the Windows screen -Click START -Click CONTROL PANEL -Click SYSTEM -Click PERFORMANCE -Click FILESYSTEM -Click TROUBLE SHOOTING -Click DO NOT USE DISK DREIVE WITH 32BITS PROTECT MODE -Click O.K -Click CLOSE BUTTON (X mark) Set the DMA data transfer ------------------------- Add /BMO to DEVICE = C:_IMES_CD.SYS /D:IMESCD01 (Example) DEVICE = C:_IMES_CD.SYS /D:IMESCD01 /BMO Note: Prior setting DMA, make sure your PC supports DMA. If you are not sure, contact the PC supplier.
